Soil organic carbon modeling in cropland under several climatic scenarios using machine learning in western India

Abstract

This peer-reviewed study combines machine learning, remote sensing, Google Earth Engine and GIS to assess soil organic carbon in western India under different climate scenarios. The findings highlight risks of soil-carbon loss under high-emission pathways and the relevance of conservation farming for soil health. Mustafa Hasani is the second author.
