Abstract

Using historical records and satellite imagery, this peer-reviewed study examines climate change and human activities affecting Afghanistan’s water resources. It considers precipitation patterns, groundwater decline and pressures on water-dependent ecosystems. The findings support evidence-informed water-resource management and climate adaptation.
