The exhibition took place from Wednesday, 28 October to Saturday, 31 October 2026, at the Afghanistan International Expo Center in Chaman-e-Hozori, Kabul.

Throughout the four-day event, the Daira Sabz team met with visitors, investors, specialists and representatives of national and international companies and organisations. Discussions covered project requirements, specialist technical services and opportunities for collaboration in mining and related industries.

Connecting expertise and investment opportunities

The exhibition aimed to showcase Afghanistan’s mineral resources and investment opportunities, introduce mineral products, encourage domestic processing and support value addition. The participation of companies, investors and specialist service providers created opportunities for knowledge exchange and professional networking.

For Daira Sabz, the event provided an opportunity to present its multidisciplinary capabilities, better understand the needs of sector stakeholders and explore potential areas of future cooperation.

Technical support for responsible mining

Responsible mineral development requires reliable studies and informed decisions throughout the project lifecycle. Understanding geological conditions, water resources, the environment and local communities helps investors and developers assess alternatives and identify risks at an early stage.

Daira Sabz brings together environmental, engineering and social expertise. Its services include baseline studies, Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA), Initial Environmental Examinations (IEE), Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMP), water-resource and geotechnical studies, engineering surveys, mapping and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

Related services include water, air and soil quality assessment, pollution monitoring, mine-waste management and technical advice on reducing the adverse impacts of extraction. The scope of each assignment is defined according to project needs, local regulations and relevant, agreed international standards.

International expertise. Local understanding.

With registration and offices in Germany and Afghanistan, Daira Sabz combines international technical oversight and quality assurance with local specialists, knowledge of the operating context and field experience.

The Group’s environmental and social assessment experience on the Mes Aynak Copper Project illustrates how baseline investigations, stakeholder consultation, impact assessment and management planning can be brought together in mining assignments.

Continuing the conversation

Daira Sabz welcomes continued dialogue following the exhibition and opportunities to collaborate with mining companies, investors, engineering firms, research institutions and development partners.

Interested organisations are invited to share their project location, development stage and principal requirements. These discussions can help identify opportunities for focused studies, joint proposals or longer-term technical partnerships.
